Choose only the foods you think you will thoroughly enjoy and skip the others. Avoid weight gain by starting with small portions and chewing slowly, savoring each bite.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Limit liquid calories. <\/strong>Alcohol, espressos, and sodas have little nutritional value but a lot of calories. Choose skinny options like coffee, tea, sparkling water, or hot apple cider.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Speaking of drinks, <\/strong>pace yourself by having a glass of water after every alcoholic beverage. Stick to the USDA\u2019s recommended limit of two drinks\/day for men and one drink\/day for women.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sleep at least seven hours each night. <\/strong>Staying up late too many nights in a row makes it difficult to think clearly or manage emotions and weakens your immune system.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Move it. <\/strong>No time for your regular workout?
